  FWIW Like most of us I was taught that you must have antifreeze in the
  radiator to prevent corrosion and with it I ran 190+ F. Now I run pure water
  and a bottle of Red Line Water Wetter. On normal days I run 170 F. and even
  on a hot days I run around 180 F. Cheers. JL
