You certainly have a right to be proud of your car. And my only point, despite
what anyone read into it, was that perhaps we should all consider our words more
carefully. I bet that Dan didn't think he was bullying anyone, but that
certainly wasn't how you perceived his post.

For point 2., again, this is simply a perception. You felt there was a personal,
bullying attack. Fair enough. Maybe Dan meant it to be, maybe he didn't. Perhaps
it was a poor decision on my part to point out that your words could just as
easily be misconstrued, as anyone's could. I did not mean to say that you were
being arrogant, only that your posts *could* be misinterpreted that way. To
point 1, from here, I see you as a fellow enthusiast. The fact that you're a
woman has no bearing on how I read your posts or what weight I give your
opinions. Gender doesn't enter into it, at least on my part.

I'm pleased that you took this bit of hyperbole in the manner it was intended...
as a joke. A good-natured poke at a fellow lister. Nigel, the Super-Spitfire!
;^)

In a bit of dumb trivia, I almost named my current Spit "Laura", after the girl
who totaled my first one all those years ago. When the guy at the DMV handed me
the plates that read "TNY-118", I knew she wanted to be called "Tiny".
