You might want to be careful here (although it may be too late if you
already fitted them).  If you used the largest *Spitfire* valves (73-74),
then you should be OK.  The problem with bigger valves is that if they are
too close to the edge of the combustion chamber you'll end up with less
flow, because of the shrouding effect of being too close.  Even with the
edge modified as suggested in the Competiton manual, if the valve head is
too big, flow may still suffer - biggest isn't necessarily always better :-)
