  I second this motion.

  A related LBC conversion is putting an MGB engine
into a Z magnette. They use the same block, but because
of the crossmember, the deep end of the oil pan is
at the wrong end.

  The common plan is just to take the lower part of the
original sump and weld it to the top flange of the
one that comes with the engine.

  Granted, the MGB and Magnette sumps are a lot closer
than a spit and a non-LBC, but it's just sheetmetal
work.
