What? A front engined Simca?  Shows what I know.   

The Renault Dauphine was hand crank-able via a hole in the REAR bumper. 
But they stopped making those in the early 60's whereas the TR4 (not the
4A) was built until  1965.  Incidentally the 4A could have been hand
crank-able except the hole in the radiator was eliminated.
