Hi Steph, Can't help you with the dash lights, since the '69 models were equiped with the later-style dashboards. Good luck on the floor patch -- just make certain that the sheetmetal under your seat

Hi StephaneYou are correct-the other large red light is the Brake Failure/handbrake light. The alternator/generator light should be one of the three lights at the bottom of your speedometer. This is

I may be wrong, but I think you have been DPO'ed. To my knowledge, the only lamp on the dash (aside from those in the gauges) is the one between the Tachometer and Speedometer. That of course is the

I don't think I was DPO'ed. At least, not on this. Don't forget that it is a '69 mk3. That's when they moved the tach and speedo from the center of the dash to the left (LHD cars), right behind the s

If I understand you correctly, the warning light for a defective generator would be the IGNITION light in the speedo? (Left - High Beams, Center- Ignition, Right - Oil) BTW I finaly found out (readi

I think you may be wrong about that one, Joe. I don't have ANY lights between the speedo and tach. Rather, my directional light is off to the left of the speedo. Is this the way your is set up as wel

No problemo, I thought all the '69 were Federal (that's why I specified '69) but then again, maybe not. BTW, it was built July 1, 1969. Anybody else with a '69 "without" the Federal dash? Just curiou
