My hopes?  Objective Numbers?  What do you know about either of those?

I'm building a CP car because I find it to be a challenge both on the
engineering side and on the driving side.  My "hope" is that I can have
fun and do well.

Btw, these are the same "objective numbers" that you're gathering from
Pros & Tours, which by your own admission don't seem to be well attended
by the cream of the crop in CP, right?  Remind me again how that doesn't
totally blow any of your conclusions away?

Huh?  My point was just to provide an example of someone who jumped into
the class and got reasonably well spanked (that driver, btw, didn't seem
to have any of the attitude you're expressing).

Jeff, why are you going to nationals?  Seems like you could just predict
where you'd finish and save yourself the money & vacation time...
