I'll save you the trouble... It was raining lightly on AP on the first day.
Fordahl's co driver  tried slicks on his first run and they quickly realized
they weren't the ticket. So... they plugged in the airjacks and and swapped
over to rains. His car was the only one on true rains. Craig Nagler hand
grooved a set of slicks for his BMW, which arguably was, and still is,
prepped to the limits of the rules.

Compare Janish's south course (I think) run to Fordahl's... THAT is a
legitimate comparison... Fordahl 55.078, Janish 58.243. Tommy Saunders was
sympathizing with some of us AP/FP guys, saying he could barely beat Greg in
his C Mod car.
