Hi Michael:
Your Panoz is a great car but is much much lighter than any Mustang and
therefore
will have different problems. The IRS has been causing wheel hop and breaking
at
the drag strips because of 320+hp and drag radials on a 3400-3700 pound car.
You
can imaging the stresses to the IRS. From all I've hear the IRS is better at
handling and the live axle is better for drag racing. Since it only weighs
about
200 pounds more it seems like a no-brainer for autocrossing. Are you going to
Autocross the Panoz this year? I would love to see it.
