I couldnt agree with you more my dad taught drivers schools to various clubs
up at summit point we used the time to play with our z cars which they made
sure they stayed far away from, the porsche club was by far the worst, even
worse than the ferrari and vette clubs. Which atleast the vette guys would
push it, the porsche guy's seemed to want to take a brie break midway thru
the front straight.

Those Porsche guys are wimps and too proud to be defeated by a Datsun thus
they have to change the rules for the Datsun so that the Porsche guys can
keep up.
I once went to a PCA meeting with a friend who owns a 76 Turbo. What a bunch
of snobs and assholes. Most don't know anyhing about their cars or about
other sports cars. The only thing many of them know how to do is write
checks.
My friend agreed with my assesment and joined my MGB club instead - at least
WE work on our cars.
