The British apparently do not believe in changing engine oil. My professional
contacts there run 10-50,000 (yes, 4 zeroes) between changes. Is it that rust
works faster than metal wear? They consider our 3,000 mile interval
hopelessly wasteful and typical of our consumer driven society.
