To continue this thread, Up until 5 years ago I lived in Las Vegas and used
my BN6 as a daily driver - errands going to the store, barber shop, showing
off by driving up and down the Strip, etc. (and if you have ever driven the
Vegas Strip you know it is hell on a clutch.) This was done on a daily basis
and involved freeway as well as main street stop and start driving. Most
trips were three-four miles to the store, stop, shop, start the car again,
hit the freeway for 10 miles or so, stop again, start the car, drive a
little -- you get the idea. Many times to Hoover dam and across it and if
anyone has been there you know the stop and go traffic jam going up and down
those steep curvy roads at the dam. Kinda rough on any car. The Healey only
hiccupped once and that was the rotor problem which could happen to any car.
Now, in New Jersey, I drive only when the weather is fair which is not too
often (I am still PO'd at my daughter for having my Grandson and refusing to
leave her husband and move to Vegas making it mandatory that we move back
here but that is another story).

Pretty good for a car that is almost 50 years old but any car maintained
properly with TLC will give great performance with a hiccup once in a while.
What you see on the list is basically those events in which something goes
awry -- certainly not that often considering the number of cars and miles
being driven.
