Since it's not the usual rubber or flexible variety there has to be some
means for the line to take up the motion between the engine moving on it's
rubber mounts and the rigid body.  That is what the service loop is for.
If it were rigidly affixed then it would tear itself loose.  It's actually
quite a nice way to do it.  You never have to worry about a rubber line
failure or rupture-
