Don't feel bad. I went over to the dark side last September. I bought a BMW
Z3/M Coupe (http://368s.com/). 3.2 liter straight six engine with 245
horsepower and 236 lbs of torque in a car that weighs about what a TR6 weighs.
Scary fast. 0 to 60 in 5.1 seconds. With its ultra wide rear tires, it
handles like its on rails. It has a similar feeling and sound to the early
E-Type Coupe but only much faster and ten times better handling. Now my TR6
just sits. I used to have big plans to hop up the TR6 to about 150 hp to maybe
get 0 to 60 in about 8 seconds. Now, its kinda like, what's the point? ;-)
ps. The sickness is getting worse. I've been looking at a 2002 Corvette Z06
lately. 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. Where does this madness end? ;-)

Well, I did about the worst thing a Triumph guy could do. I went
over to the dark side. I bought a 2002 Miata LS in dark green
with tan leather interior and top. It has 23000 miles and 6
months warranty left. The Miata has a 6-SPD gearbox and goes
like a bat out of hell...
