I'm with you, Phil. There was an Olive Yellow TR2 featured in Triumph World
magazine awhile back. "Vivid" to say the least, but pretty neat. And I've seen
several Geranium TR2s.
We had a member of our local Triumph club some years back who went to
incredible lengths to replicate the Targo Purple interior in his green 3A.
And then there are those Herald aficionados "fortunate" enough to own examples
of said cars in such stunning colors as Monaco Blue (a bit purply), Targo
Purple (WAY purply) and Coffee (actually more like coffee with cream, but not
very purply). And if I live long enough to restore any of those, they will
shine again in those original colours. ;-)
