The Big-bore/Trans-Am group is a regular feature at the Wine Country
Classic, also run by Steve Earle. Both the Hysterics and the WCC also
have a group for 1970-1983 F1 cars, all obviously with real history.
Never mind that Steve Earle has a car in this group. ;=) Steve Earle
has such an over abundance of entries for his 2 big events, he can
basically design whatever kind of event he wants. His preference is
for early, period-correct cars, but as it has been pointed out, the
Trans-Am group is a crowd pleaser. In addition to the Sunoco Camaros
and Team Hertz GT350s, you also see the FIA Comet of John Kerby-Miller.
It makes an interesting group.
