You are quite correct that there are some fantastic events for early cars.
However, most of us will never have the opportunity to go to Monaco let alone
take a car there to race. And for that matter, how many guys on this net have
cars that would be accepted there? It's not that easy to get into Pittsburgh
either, by the way.

All of these events take money and manpower to put on. You know that as well
as anyone, and have given both in the past. I hope you will continue your
support in the future, because I truly believe you do it unselfishly. I may
take a different view than you on some of these issues, but I think we both
are working toward the same goal. That goal, in my opinion, is to have events
that are fun, safe, inexpensive, and that have historical precidence in car
mixes and car specifications. We, as organizers, must keep an open mind on
what the racers want to race, and provide them a place to do it. It may not
always be what we personally would prefer.
