shows a Bug running the July 1966 Trans-Am at Virginia International Raceway
There were two of 'em in the race, finishing 17th (Jim McDaniel & John
Moore) and 18th (Warren Matzen & Rick Mandleson) out of 36 starters.

That's a pretty good heritage :-)
