The whole point was to see if more racing dates on the salt would be welcome
and what would be attractive and what would not.
Mindful of the great effort and cost involved for many racers, it is those
whose responses are of value because they would have the greatest time and
financial burden.
Maybe Bonneville isn't the place to add another race.
Would there be any value to stage an event in the middle of the country
(Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas)?
Forget the logistics, the point is to ferret out the interest -- if there is
any. There is no sense baking the cake before you find out whether or not
anyone wants to come to the party.
It may be that everyone is happy with the status quo and that is fine. The
many comments made to me indicated an interest in more racing, so the
question was put.
