I just remembered something I read long ago in one of Carol Smith's
excellent books-- a good source of VERY tough bolts is Caterpillar. You
might try a legitimate Caterpillar dealer and see if they have anything in a
useable size.

When I was still a wage slave at United Air Lines we ran into counterfeit
bolts on rare occasion. Yes the airline did cooperate with prosecution.
