I get your point, but the current classing leads to these problems. Rules
are poorly written the require so much clarification. And people are
constantly trying to find loop holes, which again need to be closed.
The SCCA has become a major business with a lot of red tape. And that's
what leads to increased expenses. I don't have a problem with an increase
in 18% of membership dues if I also get an 18% increase in membership
benefits.
I'll say it again here, the majority of Soloists, and SCCA members, who
choose to just compete on the local level, receive no benefit by being part
of the SCCA.
