I think this has been discussed on the list several times. Although you 
probably could make one yourself (after several tries to get the bends just 
right), I think it would be cheaper just to buy one. Besides the design is so 
clever, ingenuity should be rewarded. I would personally refuse to let anyone 
look at the brace on my car for the purpose of copying the design.
Just my opinion.
