I have the Hobart 135. It is 115V will weld with or without gas and is reasonably priced. The guts are made by Lincoln or Miller I forget which but this unit is much cheaper without one of those name

It's Borg and Beck and getting the kit is ok but there are two kits. Borg and Beck and Quinton Hazel. People have had problems with both but seemingly more often the Quinton Hazel kits are worse. Cha

It sounds like OD to me, since you have no problems in other gears. I would plan on replacing the clutch anyway though unless you are sure if it's history since you will already have the engine out.

Take the cap off by releasing the two clips on the side all you need to get to is right there. Pay close attention to the order of things when you take the nut off that holds the points set down. The

Leave the plug out and warm up the car. See if it will blow out the stuff on it's own. I would reccomend pressurising the system with a cooling system pressure tester, but you may not have one.

Actually on the weber it is at the base of the carb. right in the middle,on the side closest to the valve cover, look there and you will see a small brass fitting sticking out, it may be plugged but
