Let me answer that question with another:  If you have a faulty turbo
wastegate which you haven't gotten around to replacing, which provides an
additional 4 lbs of boost, does that mean you can't compete in Stock?

a)  For both cases, yes, you can compete, but you are open to protest.
b)  You are more likely to be protested for the wastegate than the ABS
sensor.
c)  You would likely be DSQed by a protest committee in either case.
