Wait a minute, that's a HUGE presumption.  Isn't this one equally valid?

We would eliminate rookies in the Slush Series.
We would require pre-registration for the series.
Anyone who runs in the series wouldn't be eligible for rookie classes
in the future.

Etc., etc.
