One (1) pound? Doubt it. Maybe you meant 11 pounds?

Lightest wheel I've ever heard of for a car was Jongbloeds at 5.5 pounds on
a Formula Ford. Said wheels also broke a lot. Based on the rep, about 12
years ago I bought a set but when he heard their purpose he declined to
build them that light and installed a larger center section which raised
the weight to about eight (8) pounds for our Lotus 7A.

In that same era I discovered the M&H tire weighed five (5) pounds
more per tire than the equivalent Goodyears. But the M&Hs of that era stuck
well and maintained that "stick" throughout their life.
