1960 Austin Mini with an MG 1100 engine, baby blue, $200.  Drove it all 
through high school and still fondly remembered by those who saw it the day a 
loose speaker wire (couldn't even hear the radio except when stopped with the 
engine shut off, which I only did on hills) caused a small fire in the boot 
area and smoke was streaming out the back as I went on my merry, oblivious 
way across the parking lot.  Miss that car!  Sold it for $450 and bought a 64 
TR4.
