There are plenty of turds available for C Mod too. I know, I bought one.
The difference between stock and C Mod is the turd you buy or C Mod can be
legally changed into a beautiful maiden without spending the money for
another turd.

be easier to trophy in a "fast" car such as a CM car. But it takes a really
good driver to make a Stock Class car (with all of it's Stock Class car
limitations and compromises) go fast around the course, and do it without
 rolling the car. >>

This may be true for a select few, exceptional drivers. However, how many
people do we consider exceptional drivers in our sport who, if the truth be
known, are actually damn good at finding the sweet spot in the cars they
choose to run stock in? For that matter, this applies to any category and
every class. How many of these exceptional drivers actually pick a turd to
begin with?

You may be right with your point about driver talent, but the fact of the
matter in our sport is that it IS a sport of car AND driver. One usually
does not do well (on a national level) unless both parts are mixed equally
well.

turds I've tried to autocross in my lifetime) Dickey
