I'd sooner guess bad installation / engineering rather than that ss lines
are more prone to failure than rubber lines. After all, inside the brain
is just another rubber line... The OEM lines have the advantage that some
mechanical engineer designed the routing, hose ends, and length to work
for the application. SS lines frequently aren't subject to the same
scrutiny.
