Yeah, those bastards screwed me and my Model T Ford too.

It astonishes me that autocrossers seem to feel a need to bash the neon
and DS. Its probably one of the most competitive classes, one of the
ones where cost of entry for a 'top-level' car isnt' psychotic, one of the
ones that has a ton of contingency money available, one of the onses where
you can concentrate on driving rather than car setup, etc.

And I'm especially amazed that some folks out there think that the neon is
the dominent car and then put their heads in the sand and say it has
nothing to do with the drivers. I've been doing this for a horrendously
short time, but its quite freaking clear that Mark Daddio, Nick Leverone,
Zoner, etc., etc. are pretty damn good drivers. Just maybe the neon wins
all the DS stuff because of who's driving it.

All this sounds to me like someone that has an SE-R or CRX Si or whatever
that isnt't very good (or maybe is just average) and can't point the
finger at themselves where it outta be pointed.

Mark
