I agree that a reduction of fees ought to trickle down to us "poor guys", but
don't really expect that to happen soon. The reality is that we little guys
wouldn't be able to race at all at the big tracks without the participation
of the big guys.

How old or new  the cars are is a matter of taste. If you want to have events
just for lets say pre-1967 cars, I don't think that you will get enough to
break even anymore. To me, that is an unfortunate fact, but not something
that is too surprising as demographics move forward. I personally wouldn't
mind racing old cars with old farts, but would anyone come to watch us
anymore? I think we get a little too full of ourselves sometimes.

Lets keep this objective and maybe some real solutions will come out of it.
This really is an important topic which all racing oganizations are concerned
about.

What do you want to race and what don't you want the other guy to show up
with, and why?
