In looking at the Pro and Tour events results so far this year, it looks to me as if this class has been ruined by the decision to put the S2000 into BS instead of AS. It looks to be almost a spec S2

I don't know if you noticed or not, but this years BS is pretty much the same class as last years AS with a couple of additions (SS Camaro, WS6 Firebird, ..). So are you then saying that last years A

Scott, you are correct. As I said, I was thinking of the "good old days", as in pre-Boxster and pre-S2000. I do understand that a lot of thought and analysis went into the classing of these cars, and

Yes, it was one of the most diverse, but you are definitely reminiscing about the A-Stock glory years from 1995 to 1999. Those days are long gone and will never be back even if you make the same clas

Brad, you're right - the old AS was a fun class to watch. I can understand and support moving the Boxster and S2000 to AS, but why would you want to move the C4 Corvette back to SS where it will sure

I think I can speak for pretty much all C4 Corvette owners when I say that moving the C4 corvette back into SS would be a bad idea as the C4 is completely not competitive in SS. I know, I was there.

That's a good point. I'm not really saying it needs to be the same cars as it was in '95-99. I just thought that the purpose of the reclassing was to give more cars a place to play (especially the c

I agree that the C4 wouldn't be competitive in SS, but that doesn't necessarily mean that putting it there is a bad idea since it might help give more cars a place to play. The RX7 isn't competitive
